Covid 19 Guidelines
We will be following strict COVID-19 guidelines as set out by the government and ICBC to ensure everyone’s safety above everything else
Since two-metre social distancing is not possible in a driving school car, we are enhancing the protections in place for all our training sessions. We have developed strict safety protocols including disinfecting our vehicles between lessons, wearing masks during lessons, and providing hand sanitizer for the delivery of lessons. Please read the detailed important information below before scheduling your lessons.
Masks must be worn by both the Instructor and Student – Students to supply their own mask, Instructor will only be able to provide mask for 1st lesson
Instructor and Student will use sanitizer at both the beginning and end of lesson and at any time when necessary during the lesson (regardless of whether or not you wear gloves)
All control surfaces, door panels, arm rests, handles, steering wheel, gear shift, etc. on both sides of the vehicle (both inside & outside) will be disinfected between lessons
There will be NO sharing of devices, paperwork or other items during the lesson
Only the Driving Instructor and the student will be present inside the car. There will be no parent ride-alongs during this time
There is a Zero-tolerance policy with regards to symptoms of illness – if your health is in question, the lesson will not proceed
Thank you for your cooperation in this tough and unique time. Only by pulling together will we be able to get through this “new” normal that we are faced with. We want everyone to stay happy, healthy and above all SAFE!
